42 Day Detention Bill
These days the labour government are finding it difficult to be seen doing anything right. Increased tax hasn’t been popular, neither has the Northern Rock fiasco. So surely, when in power of the country with the world’s most CCTV cameras the home office can be seen to be tough on terror? Or perhaps they’re being too tough. Alex Ward reports on how the proposed 42 day terror bill is being received.
